Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in historic Elkin, North Carolina, Six28 House is the perfect place to get away. We offer 3 well-appointed guest rooms each with it’s own private, dedicated bath. A full-service, chef-prepared breakfast welcomes you each morning. Take time to sit and relax on the porch or meander through the lovely gardens to unwind and recharge. As the owners/live-in hosts of Six28 House, we are extremely excited to share this grand home with you; providing warm hospitality and great conversation. We are well versed in the area and are happy to assist in planning your itinerary. Lodging for those 21 and over (sorry, no pets)

The Vineyard Suite (From $219/night)

Queen sized sleigh bed with en-suite bathroom and private entrance.

This spacious first floor room features a queen sized sleigh bed, an en-suite bathroom and a private entrance. It also includes a bistro table for two overlooking the garden (a great spot to watch the hummingbirds in summer), side chair, armoire and room safe. With its soothing colored walls with wine country inspired wall art, original pinewood floors and high ceilings, the Vineyard Suite offers guests a quiet and comfortable retreat.• Check-In: 3:00 pm / Check-Out: 11:00 am. Third person allowable in room – rollaway bed available additional $35.00 per night.

The Garden Room (From $179/night)

Queen sized bed with private bath just down the hall.

This inviting first floor room boasts the original beadboard walls colored a warm, sunny yellow, adorned with lovely garden prints, the original hearth surrounded in a rich green tile (decorative only), high ceilings, and pinewood floors. A comfortable queen sized bed, armoire, table for two, and a cozy side chair and ottoman, a small desk equipped with usb port, and a room safe for your valuables. A private, dedicated bath with a step-in shower, is just down the hall (guest bathrobes available).

Mountains-to-Sea Trail Room (From $179/night)

Second floor room, Queen sized bed with private, dedicated bath across the hall..

A cozy space, this second floor bedroom was renovated with the area hiking trails in mind. It offers guests a queen sized bed, table for two, USB ports, dresser and closet. A private, dedicated bath is across the hall (guest bathrobes and slippers provided). A convenient, second floor coffee bar and mini fridge located just outside the bedroom door. 2% of MST room sales donated to the local Elkin Valley Trail Association.• Check-In: 3:00 pm / Check-Out: 11:00 am. Third person allowable in room – rollaway bed available additional $35.00 per night.

Highly, highly recommend! Our stay was phenomenal. Holly and Keith are very accommodating, friendly, and kind. They provide plenty of recommendations for things to do around the area. The home itself is lovely, full of seasonal decor, games, books, etc. And Keith's cooking is out of this world! Breakfast will be better than anything you can find out an a restaurant.
